JOB TITLE: Manager, Sales & Strategy, VICE/Virtue Worldwide US Hispanic

EXEMPTION STATUS: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Head of Sales, Latin America & US Hispanic

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for selling Vice Content & Virtue programs in the US Hispanic market. Develop pipeline to generate client revenue and identify partnership ventures for revenue share. The role includes all facets of selling, from prospecting to closing. Candidate works closely with Head of Sales to develop 2018 sales growth strategy and new business.

DUTIES:

  • Create pipeline based on organic and new business opportunities from agencies and clients/brands that cater to US Hispanic market.
  • Apply a consulting selling approach based on prospects’ competitive analysis, marketplace data, audience segmentation, and insight-based strategies to provide clients solutions through VICE/Virtue programs.
  • Partner with strategic alliances to monetize new ventures that increase US Hispanic audience share.
  • Work with creative/media agencies to build accounts; develop annual incentive plans that secure agency commitment and build partnership.
  • Oversee the delivery of first time projects to new clients –supervision and coordination across in-house departments (i.e., production, content, marketing, communications, design, sales, creative, experiential)
  • Daily management of sales data in Sales force, understand forecasting, budgeting and quota setting.
  • Travel 25% between Los Angeles, NYC, Miami and Chicago.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: 

  • 7 - 10+ years of experience in sales management, new business or marketing in the entertainment, telecommunications, packaged goods or digital/mobile industries. Agency background a plus. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent presentation skills (both written/verbal), executive gravitas, industrious and cross-functional savvy, driven and extremely organized in the selling approach.
  • MBA preferred but not necessary but must have an understanding of financial principles such as P&L management/planning.
  • Innate curiosity and knowledge of culture, media, technology and digital/mobile
  • Able to handle a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment, simplifies the complex and translate creative concepts into actionable business results.
