We're NextGuest Digital, the digital marketing agency that pioneered book-direct strategies for hundreds of hotels around the world. Since 2001, we've worked with global chains, independent boutique hotels, and non-hotel accommodations to drive more direct bookings through website design and digital marketing, from SEO, SEM, and online advertising to content, email, and social media marketing.

We’re hiring an Account Executive in our New York office. Account Executives are the day-to-day agency contact for a dedicated portfolio of hospitality clients, and are responsible for understanding and conveying the scope and context of each client’s website and digital marketing initiatives. If you’re interested in wearing many hats, from relationship building to coordinating the execution of campaigns and reporting on the results for some of the best hotels in the world, this is the job for you.

(Please note that this NOT a Sales position. Sales professionals need not apply. This position is within the Client Success Department and handles the management of our accounts.)

The Account Executives at NextGuest Digital:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of hospitality clients
  • Coordinate with creative and marketing teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, display, email, content marketing, social media, and more
  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports, including actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing each client’s website and digital marketing performance
  • Facilitate client requests related to their website and digital marketing initiatives
  • Effectively set and manage expectations client expectations
  • Recommend new products and services that will improve website and digital marketing performance
  • Monitor client health and action items with agency teams and clients as needed
  • Create annual or ad hoc client budget proposals, review monthly client invoices, and ensure each client’s account is in good standing
  • Conduct ad hoc trainings for clients
  • Educate clients on industry and NextGuest Digital-related news, best practices, and technology

Requirements:

  • Excellent and professional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to create organization from chaos and clutter
  • Sense of ownership and accountability on contributing to your client’s and organization’s success
  • Understands the importance of being a team player and is easy to work with
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools & technology for hospitality
  • Knowledgeable in systems such as QuickBase, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, DART and email marketing platforms
  • 3-5 years for Mid-level and 5-7 years for Senior level account management experience (hotel and/or digital marketing agency experience is a plus)
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Degree or experience in hospitality is a plus)
