Ribbon’s Finance team is responsible for providing data-driven insights to inform strategic, financial, and operational decision-making across the company. We're seeking a driven Accounts Payable Associate to play an integral role in our growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the recording, processing, and reconciling of accounts payable invoices, which is critical to maintaining accuracy of our financial records. In addition, you will assist the finance team in monthly close and the external audit. We’re looking for someone who possesses strong organizational skills with a passion for details, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

How you'll make homeownership achievable:

  • Process invoices and ensure accuracy of categorization in financial statements
  • Define processes for corporate and property-level payables, manage vendor relationships and cash balance
  • Maintain records of financial transactions and perform account reconciliations for payable, cash and credit card accounts 
  • Execute wire payments for home closings in a timely manner
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and external requirements
  • Assist with audit engagements with third party firms

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 1 year of accounts payable/internal accounting or public accounting experience
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Strong project management and process design skills; highly organized, independent, and self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and critically, and thrive in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment while maintaining high standards of work quality

  • Experience working in property management / real estate
