Description

Hydrant is seeking a teammate with a razor-sharp analytical mind to build and manage our paid social channels. This is a highly analytical, data-driven role responsible for day-to-day strategy and execution of our paid social channels (FB/IG/Pinterest/etc) to increase traffic, conversion and revenue.

This is an exciting opportunity to help define a vision for millions of customers and be able to carry it through to execution. In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining and driving the brand forward while optimizing for growth. Fundamentally, you believe that these two things can happen in unison and are not tradeoffs. You should be excited about rolling up your sleeves and figuring out how to quickly identify different growth channels and opportunities for Hydrant. Ultimately, you crave the responsibility of owning our customer acquisition targets. The projects will be fast-paced and varied in nature. We are still at a very early stage here at Hydrant, so one day, you could be jumping into Facebook and testing new value propositions with different audiences, and the next you could be recommending and implementing a strategy to test different first-order offers to acquire new customers and the next you could be creating the strategy for testing a new acquisition channel.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, resourceful, organized, and results-oriented. We look for teammates who are curious, kind, and will challenge us at every turn. This is an incredible opportunity to join a brand that is ready to re-define how people are thinking about hydration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of Paid Social across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc) including ideation, setup, execution, reporting, and optimization
  • Manage budgets and drive campaigns to sales and revenue targets.
  • Proactively increase the scale and effectiveness of campaign performance. Practice tactical and strategic excellence in digital media management, continuously optimizing all front- and back-end attributes of a campaign for maximum direct-response performance
  • Implement a rigorous test and learn the strategy to measure traffic, revenue, and efficiency
  • Lead analytics and reporting across paid social. This role requires a highly quantitative, analytical, and technical self-starter, including the ability to process and understand large data sets and clearly articulate program status to management
  • Help conceptualize, launch and promote new creative and campaigns. The ideal candidate has exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, analytics and product teams to scale, test and grow revenue
  • Manage budget to support P&L goals, partnering with Finance and Operations on reporting and forecasting
  • Select, negotiate contracts, and partner with digital agencies and vendors to support business needs
  • We want to scale quickly but efficiently. You will run payback and attribution analysis and look at large sets of data to find opportunities and recommend budget allocation across channels

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s degree with 1.5-3 years of experience in performance/acquisition marketing for an e-commerce company (B2C subscription a plus)
  • You have deep customer acquisition and paid advertising experience for an e-commerce brand in a fast-growth environment
  • You have deep experience in a rigorous A/B testing environment and a strong desire to test & learn
  • Intellectually curious with keen analytical and quantitative skills, ability to pull data and use it to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Structured thinkers, with strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to ensure success
  • Highly detail-oriented and takes pride in producing exceptional deliverables
  • You pride yourself in your ability to lead through persuasion and use data/research to make a case. You’re comfortable with large data sets and granular details, but can present insights and trends with simplicity and clarity
  • Ability to communicate cross-functionally
