Ad Operations Analyst
The ad operations analyst will join Metric Theory’s fast growing Programmatic & Media team to help facilitate ad buys. The Programmatic & Media team buys media across direct publisher sites, via multiple DSPs and across mediums ranging from CTV to native to display. We are looking for a self-starter who can support increased ad buying, gain exposure within DSPs and help build out additional processes for scaling growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Campaign creation, building placements, trafficking of creatives, and ad tagging via appended clickthrough URLs.
- Assist in the creation, implementation, and timely QA of floodlights & pixels.
- Collaborate with the internal Account Services team by providing troubleshooting support for campaign tracking issues.
- Serve as the liaison between external DSP vendors, and internal media teams by answering ad ops related questions.
- Participate in data analysis, production, and maintenance of client reporting dashboards.
- Create tickets for the Metric Theory AMP team for custom reporting builds and communicating updates on progress with internal teams.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years in an ad operations role, preferably on the agency side.
- Working knowledge of third-party ad servers (i.e Google Campaign Manager).
- Familiarity with DSP technology and the relationship it plays with third party ad servers.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate multi-tasking ability and have a passion and enthusiasm for troubleshooting to ensure client success.
- Not required but a plus: Certifications in Google Tag Manager, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, and Google Analytics.
