Ad Operations Associate
Dotdash is looking for an energetic and seasoned AdOps Associate to manage campaign performance, delivery and support the renewal and upsell of existing business. This is an opportunity to utilize your project management skills to strategize and redefine how media campaigns are managed by a top publisher. Ad Operations will work along with sales support, marketing, product and other departments as well as external clients and advertisers.
The ideal candidate has media and online advertising experience and you enjoy being in the details. We want people who strive to make positive impacts and challenge those to do more with the great products and resources we have to better serve our clients.
About Your Contributions:
- Manage online advertising campaigns using Google Ad Manager
- Execute set up, testing, launch and optimizations to some of our most complex campaigns to support performance and delivery
- Liaison for cross-functional teams of Account Strategy, Yield & Analytics, Programmatic, Sales Development and Custom Solutions
- QA site functionality as related to display and video ads
- Trouble-shoot ad serving errors, report discrepancies
- Meet regularly with SalesOps team to showcase results, progress, and drive best revenue results
About You:
- 2-3 years experience with trafficking digital media and advertising
- Understanding of HTML, and JavaScript, rich media vendors, mobile and pre-roll solutions, programmatic technologies and exchanges, OMS and CRM tools
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization verbally or in writing and the ability to influence others
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams
- Technical mindset to absorb ad-serving technologies
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a deadline driven, changing environment
- Demonstrated analytical skills and passion for analyzing data, products, brands
- Interested in technical and operational elements
- Positive, up-beat, can-do attitude
- Sense of humor preferred – we laugh a lot
