As the Associate Marketing Lead, you will lead the day-to-day marketing integration of boutique brokerage acquisitions. You will help conduct operational due diligence and execute strategic M&A integration initiatives. An effective project manager and creative problem solver, you will manage marketing integration planning and execution, working closely and collaboratively with key functions across Compass including finance, legal, communications, business development, listings and other internal teams.

At Compass You Will:

  • Lead acquisition marketing activities, including strategic planning and tactical execution
  • Help refine Compass’ post-acquisition marketing integration playbook
  • Help conduct marketing due diligence to inform integration planning
  • Act as the primary liaison and point-of-contact to Principal(s) at acquired brokerages to ensure seamless integration from a marketing perspective
  • Manage operational “on the ground” teams during critical phases of integration
  • Implement thoughtful business processes to support and integrate agents
  • Hold yourself to a standard of constant improvement, learning from past experiences and adjusting your go-forward strategy
  • Be an "athlete" who is excited to dive in and play a hands on role
  • Assist in strengthening the Compass brand within the market by liaising with the advertising team to secure and establish advertising plans, marketing initiatives, and local branding
  • Liaise with the local Marketing Advisors to communicate and coordinate the delivery of initial projects and materials
  • Provide creative and strategic marketing recommendations
  • Support the marketing & creative department by relaying real estate market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information.

What We Look For:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree and 5-7+ years experience leading an account management, customer service, or internal marketing group preferred
  • Strong organizational, planning and project management skills with the ability to manage several simultaneous projects in a dynamic, fluid environment
  • Highly resourceful problem solver and quick learner; solution-oriented mindset and work approach
  • Ability to think critically and strategically to evaluate processes and innovate better systems amidst a high-growth, fast-changing environment
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients to solve complex/challenging operational and people issues
  • Excellent communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to gain respect from and lead seasoned real estate industry professionals
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with others
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Highly organized, reliable and detail-oriented
  • Experience with client/account management, real estate marketing, and/or luxury brands a big plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media/online marketing platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of creative programs such as InDesign and Photoshop preferred
  • Flexibility to travel and work weekend hours as needed
