General Summary:
The WW Marketing team is looking for a new Associate Marketing Manager, CRM to join the digital marketing team! We’re looking for a motivated individual who has experience in email/CRM, test and learn, and optimization strategies and has experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The position will develop strategies to increase sign up’s and customer lifetime value and work cross-functionally with content, finance, other marketing team members (brand, consumer products, ad sales, etc.), email tech vendors, and legal to ensure successful execution of email reactivation/acquisition efforts (with a focus on triggered journeys) and direct mail efforts. This person will also play a critical role in working with the content team on the weekly newsletter and setting up newsletter deployments in the ESP. Strong marketing skill set, organizational skills, analytical skills, and detail-orientation are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and testing agenda for triggered emails (creative, offer/pricing, test opportunities) and direct mail and manage execution to increase sign up’s and customer lifetime value
- Work closely with the Action IQ/data and analysis teams for segmentation needs from the customer data platform
- Successful set-up, QA, and deployment of the newsletter email in the ESP (currently Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Managing the email developer/vendor for email production (Email Monks)
- Troubleshoot Movable Ink (dynamic content vendor) issues and email design/production issues as needed
- Conduct analyses to provide insights on performance and consumer behavior through data including A/B test results, campaign summaries, ad hoc analyses in both the ESP reporting system and Google Analytics. Research capabilities to improve reporting abilities.
- Develop a strong understanding of the competitive space, the consumer, and how to leverage email to meet both brand and performance marketing goals
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of working experience
- Email marketing experience required and hands-on ESP experience a plus
- Interest in digital marketing
- Nice to have a basic proficiency with HTML (or a willingness to learn) to look at code to troubleshoot layout issues or make copy updates (but definitely not required)
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- An interest in improving email performance through a data-driven approach
- Desire and demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, skilled problem solver, and energetic individual with a high level of initiative and thrives working in a fast-paced environment
