Spruce is looking for a B2B Marketing Leader. You’ll report to the Head of Revenue, leading our B2B brand building, product marketing and demand generation marketing efforts; while supporting and developing a team. Your expertise across a variety of Marketing disciplines as well as leadership of a high performing team will accelerate development of Spruce’s marketing infrastructure; focus messaging around our products; and alongside the Sales team deliver on an aggressive growth strategy.

What you'll do

  • Envision and execute an industry-leading marketing strategy to communicate and position the Spruce brand and product to our prospective clients by:
  • Using a variety of channels and tactics to create and iterate on full lifecycle B2B demand generation campaigns based on campaign goals and target audiences
  • Developing bespoke content and collateral to demonstrate Spruce’s expertise and market leadership to differentiate our brand in the market
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Client Success, and Sales to develop product marketing collateral in service of greater product adoption and client satisfaction
  • Implementing best-practices for Spruce’s events, conferences and sponsorship strategy 
  • Measure and track the success of all marketing initiatives, deliver insights to help improve ROI for marketing spend, and aim to continuously grow Spruce’s MQL pipeline while reducing CAC
  • Collaborate with the brand communications team in developing strategic content themes, and amplify PR announcements to drive new leads
  • Support sales initiatives as needed to ensure Spruce achieves its growth objectives
  • Grow, lead and coach a team of high-performing marketing professionals

What we're looking for

  • Proven success in developing and executing B2B marketing campaigns and strategies that have generated measurable results, ideally with experience targeting both SMB and Enterprise accounts
  • Fluency and experience across all relevant B2B marketing channels and tools, including digital, conferences / events, content marketing, product marketing, email campaigns and CRM systems
  • Proficient with budget planning and performance reporting skills
  • Prior team building and management experience
  • Track record of trusting cross-functional partnerships both within and outside a Growth/Revenue organization
