Role Description:
We are looking to hire our first Brand & Market Researcher to join our User Experience research team working directly with our Marketing and Brand teams to help us answer foundational questions about our educators. This is a ‘temp-to-hire’ opportunity to become a full-time employee at the end of the contract.
We’re looking for someone to help us measure and track brand sentiment, conduct research in support of our marketing initiatives, and inform brand strategy through research on brand identity and positioning.
The ideal candidate is an expert in crafting and analyzing surveys, also has experience with qualitative research methods, and has demonstrated experience planning and leading research projects end to end in-house.
Responsibilities:
- Define brand and market research priorities in collaboration to proactively address key business decisions
- Planning and leading brand and market research projects end-to-end, including NPS, brand tracking, benchmarking, and audience segmentation with your cross-functional partners..
- Experience hiring and overseeing the work of market research agency partners
- Working closely with Marketing and Business Stakeholders to ensure insights are converted to action
- Integrating alternate data sources (primary and secondary research, campaign analytics, attribution metrics, etc.) to inform and support research
- Contributing to the development of a data-driven understanding of our customers and potential customers
- Communicating data and insights across the org in a way that unites and aligns the business around key areas and data-points to understand and react to
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge in quantitative and qualitative market research skills
- 3-5+ years of market research experience in industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Statistics, , Business, or similar
- Ability to draft high quality survey questionnaires, implement sampling strategies, and analyze survey data
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
