The Brand Marketing Director will be instrumental in the strategic development and execution of overall consumer marketing and advertising strategies for William Hill. Reporting to the VP, Advertising, Creative & Content, the Brand Marketing Director will work cross-functionally with Creative, Growth Marketing and Partner Marketing teams to craft compelling creative briefs on the front end and help drive brand equity on the back end. This position will be instrumental in the strategy, execution, and implementation of various marketing campaigns, inclusive of TV, radio, digital, experiential, and social media. In addition, the Brand Director will be a key liaison between creative and media agencies and the broader William Hill cross-functional team.  The William Hill Brand Marketing team elevates and amplifies the William Hill brand through quality storytelling, innovation, retail, and digital State expansion, and by helping to define and drive the direct-to-consumer business.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide support in the execution and implementation of consumer marketing & brand strategies.
  • Strategically ideate and direct campaigns around tentpole events in sports calendar, aligning all available assets internally and with all partners
  • Cross functionally direct all creative deliverables and timelines to ensure work is finished, delivered, and trafficked on time and on budget.
  • Collaborate with other teams outside of Marketing Organization to help drive cross department learnings and uncover opportunities
  • Marketing Strategy & Launch Coordination: Drive marketing strategy, and product and market launches to drive demand for mobile.
  • Positioning, Messaging & Materials: Develop and drive the marketing plans and materials. Develop positioning, messaging, and external communications.
  • Brief Writing: Work with internal creative team and external agencies to develop creative assets to support product launches including signage, videos, digital ads, and other marketing assets.
  • User Acquisition: Write briefs that develop high-performing marketing creative and deliver on cost-per-acquisition targets and support acquisition strategies across marketing platforms.
  • Public Relations/Social Media: Integrate public relations and social media into the marketing plan
  • Brand Advocate: Be the brand advocate by ensuring consistency across various touch points.
  • Consumer Insights: Own our brand tracker and any qualitative research that delivers actionable insights to drive marketing. Become the expert on competitive trends


What You Will Need:

  • Passion for building brands people love
  • Knowledge of sports betting and passionate about sports
  • 5-8 years of consumer insights/planner experience, preferably on a fast-paced marketing team or in a brand strategy role.
  • Curious, creative, strategic, and analytical — An excellent communicator with outstanding listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to synthesize data across different qual & quant sources into easily digestable influential takeaways to tell a story & inform and guide marketing strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships at all levels
  • Proven ability to work independently without much direction, juggle multiple priorities, and complete responsibilities in a fast paced, change oriented environment
  • A no task too small "doer" with a drive to see gaps and opportunities and make change happen
