Brand Strategy & Consumer Insights Extern
THE ROLE
Peloton is looking for a passionate and talented extern to support our growing brand strategy and consumer insights function within the larger Brand Marketing team. This person will help translate data-driven insights into more effective marketing and will collaborate with the brand team to develop clear and strategic insights and strategic implementations. This person will manage 1-3 key projects for the Brand Strategy & Insights team over the course of their time at Peloton, inclusive of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, with an eye toward actionable strategic recommendations that the entire organization can implement. Reporting to the Global Director of Brand Strategy & Consumer Insights, this candidate will be responsible for identifying actionable and tactical consumer insights to inform and improve Peloton’s brand strategy and marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead qualitative and quantitative creative research for key strategic initiatives with support from the Director of Brand Strategy & Consumer Insights
- Lead questionnaire development, sample and data analysis plans, screeners, discussion guides, and all reporting
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights for the marketing team
- Collaborate with the entire Brand Strategy & Consumer Insights team and wider Brand Marketing function to ensure your work is complementary to ongoing efforts
- Partner cross functionally to ensure that your work has a clear and actionable impact
- Leverage a mix of vendors and primary research to always keep pulse on consumer desires
- Lead insights reporting and strategic recommendations to a wide array of audiences (spanning immediate brand-team, cross-functional partners, and senior leadership)
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience reporting to diverse stakeholder audiences
- Comfortable managing multiple vendor relationships
- Analytical mindset with an eye to understanding the marketing landscape
- Must be an independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary
- Ability to work in fast-paced ever-changing environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to juggle an array of tasks on tight timelines
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
