OVERVIEW

The Campaign Marketing Manager is responsible for keeping Mack Weldon top-of-mind through creative email strategy. This role is focused on developing a full-year marketing campaign schedule and strategy for all product launches, seasonal campaigns, and contextual campaigns. We don’t believe in sales or promotional gimmicks, so we build customer relationships beyond email to create a cross-channel, multi-channel experience, including automating retargeting campaigns, order inserts, direct mail, digital ads. In this role, you’ll be expected to creatively leverage each of these (and create your own) build opportunities for impactful customer interaction. We’re a team of four and growing, you’ll be working with everyone and reporting directly to the Marketing Director of Retention.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Set full year marketing campaign schedule and strategy for all product launches, seasonal campaigns, and contextual campaigns.
  • Craft high-conversion campaigns from strategy development through to segmentation, execution, reporting, and analysis.
  • Extend our marketing campaigns beyond email to create a cross-channel, multi-channel experience, including automating retargeting campaigns, order inserts, direct mail, digital ads, and more by testing into a mix that drives a positive ROI on incremental conversions.
  • Own the campaign calendar, partnering cross-functionally with Brand, Digital Product, Merchandising, and Product Design to ensure all teams are aligned on messaging, positioning, timing, and asset creation.
  • Establish baseline KPIs for campaign launches, including 1st purchase, repeat and return rates, customer feedback pre- and post-launch. 
  • Create the strategy and execute against a roadmap for A/B testing that improves metrics
  • Grow our active email audience by reviving lapsed customers, and expand the reach of our marketing campaigns.
  • Develop strategies and implementation plans for a personalized one-to-one customer relationship.
  • Enhance personalization strategy through the use of segmentation and predictive modeling.
  • Collaborate with Data Science to identify consumer insights that can be leveraged to improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and maintain healthy email deliverability rates.
  • Partner with Brand and Customer Experience teams to ensure communications are on-brand and impactful.

WHAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • 3-5 years experience within eCommerce, with strong analytical component. Startup experience a plus.
  • Experience managing email marketing programs, ESPs, and CDPs.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a firm grasp on formulas and logic.
  • Passion for email, online marketing, and staying on top of emerging trends.
  • Motivated and quick to learn; takes initiative and thrives in a start-up environment.
