We are looking for a Chief Consumer Excitement Officer / Head of PR & Communications with a successful record of managing and leading digital marketing and communications strategies.

The ideal candidate will have deep domain experience in brand marketing strategy, including communications, events, messaging and thought leadership. You will know how to organize and grow a team for scale.

What You Will Do:

• Identify emerging issues and positive story opportunities within key areas of the business.
• Project manage and deliver key projects and campaigns
• Maximize press coverage in agreed core targets in print and online
• Secure targeted press coverage through the development and sourcing of newsworthy category and brand content
• Identify PR opportunities and communication vehicles on a real time and on an ongoing basis as part of a comprehensive market communication plan
• Ensure all press requests are responded to timely and accurately
• Host regular press meet-ups to develop strong relationships with press.
• Manage external PR and Comms Agencies as needed/required
• Arrange and host Product Q&A sessions

Who You Are:

• 5+ years’ experience working in Corporate PR – preference for in-house experience, not essential
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Content creation / reporting experience desirable
• Experience working with senior management
• Good relationships with a wide range of journalists, especially in the beauty, health and wellness space
• Demonstrable ability to build and develop internal and external relationships
• Good understanding of the tech industry, understanding of the beauty, health and wellness space preferable
• Is a self-starter, team player and has a ‘friendly can do’ approach
• Commitment to deliver and exceed expectations
• Able to deal with highly confidential information
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive and solution driven, can manage ambiguity and be pragmatic
