Overview:

The Chief Marketing Officer will report to our EVP of Strategic Initiatives and work very closely with our CEO. You will own the marketing strategy and plan to make LivePerson the #1 customer engagement platform, powered by our unique AI. In addition, you will own worldwide marketing responsibility, including demand generation across field and digital marketing, our digital presence, communications, analyst relations, product marketing, and creative services.

You will:

  • Have accountability for the sales pipeline, focusing on new logo demand generation and progression as well as demand and deal support in our install base
  • Position strategy and excellence for the company across a growing, multi-product portfolio
  • Be the keeper of our customer executive community, which meets regularly worldwide to share their progress and inspire one another. It is a tremendous asset for the company that the right leader will not only steward, but cultivate and build on.
  • Own the New Product Introduction process and field feedback loop to product, in partnership with our product organization and enablement teams
  • Guide and drive the team to be accountable for results as they are measured against pipeline origination and progression, as well as the strength of that community

You have:

  • 15+ years of B2B software experience, with an emphasis on the enterprise segment
  • Played a key leadership role in a high growth B2B software company.
  • Strong team leadership skills, bringing together a global team for operational excellence and rewarding career paths
  • Expertise in bringing together a growing multi-product portfolio
  • Proven track record in successful demand generation and lead Management; deeply understands enterprise B2B sales revenue lifecycle, from MQL through close, and the automation platforms and CRM systems that help drive them
  • History of establishing category leadership with analysts and broader recognition
  • Ability to design and implement high-impact programs that are optimized to deliver results across the marketing and sales funnel, working tightly with SDRs and partners.
  • An analytical approach to problem solving and plan development, coupled with intellectual curiosity and skill in getting the best from our creative minds
  • Ability to think on your feet and apply a problem-solving mindset to execute on goals
