Commercial Strategy Manager

The Role
As Cedar looks ahead to its next chapter of growth, the team is seeking an energetic, razor-sharp, and self-motivated Commercial Strategy Manager to work directly with the Chief Commercial Officer, CEO, and Chief of Staff on strategic initiatives that will enable our Commercial team to achieve its goals.
You will partner with Cedar's executives to work across our business functions on topics spanning strategy, new operational processes, reporting & analytics, product, sales enablement, recruiting, and beyond. As you develop expertise on our technology, you will also engage prospective and current clients on topics like patient experience, revenue cycle, financial ROI, and Cedar's product.

Responsibilities
You will work with internal and external partners to drive high-impact strategic initiatives that directly drive Cedar's growth:
- Develop client-facing strategies, analyses, and materials to drive Cedar's top commercial priorities, with cross-functional support from Commercial Strategy leadership and our Partnerships, Client Growth, and Delivery & GTM teams
- Maintain external relationships with senior partners from a diverse range of healthcare organizations on behalf of Cedar's commercial leaders, including our investors (a16z, Thrive Capital, Oak HC/FT)
- Build and run internal management processes; help monitor and manage the Commercial P&L; define Commercial KPIs and ensure the team is tracking against them
- Lead training, onboarding, and enablement sessions to benefit the development of all Commercial Cedarians
- Take ownership of key Commercial assets, like Cedar's pitch deck and product demo
- Independently define and lead special projects that you believe will add value to the organization
- Maintain a culture that adheres to Cedar's values of focusing on our vision, using good judgment, applying a growth mindset, and rejecting mediocrity
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of work experience preferred
- Prior experience in client services and sales a plus (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, fast-growing B2B startups)
- Healthcare experience or intuition; patient engagement or revenue cycle knowledge a plus
- Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to translate data and insights into compelling, executive-facing narratives
- An analytical attitude, extremely strong attention to detail, and passion for problem solving
- A self-starter, entrepreneurial mentality; ability to thrive even within ambiguity
- Mastery of Google Sheets and Slides (or Powerpoint and Excel)
