Communications Lead
IEX’s growing Marketing and Communications team is looking for a Communications Lead to be responsible for all strategic media planning and execution. You will be tasked with crafting the external communications strategy, maintaining constant engagement with the media, shaping news coverage and working alongside company leadership to ensure the brand is properly positioned in the media.

What you’ll do:
- Responsible for creation and implementation of high-impact, future-focused communications strategy
- Manage the external reputation of the brand
- Work directly with company leadership on their public positioning and personal platform development
- Work with Chief Marketing Officer on brand and communications strategy and other strategic initiatives
- Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships that are relevant to the company
- Strategically pitch the brand across broadcast, print and online outlets
- Leverage internal trends and business developments for external elevation
- Remain constantly engaged in the news across finance, tech, business, and consumer outlets
- Constantly mine for opportunities for external brand elevation
- Ensure the communications function is operating at its best, creating processes as needed
Your background:
- 7-10 years of relevant public relations experience
- Experience with fast-paced media engagement
- Existing relationships with reporters, producers, and editors across a variety of media outlets
