Movers and Shakers Foundation is an educational technology nonprofit start-up that is dedicated to empowering students of color by changing the American history curriculum, allowing them to see themselves in history by using immersive art and technology.

Movers and Shakers is looking for a dynamic Community Manager to support the company in building brand awareness and becoming a part of relevant and timely conversations across all social media platforms. This is a full-time remote position that will start ASAP. The salary ranges from 55K-75K with Medical and Dental benefits. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as the voice of our brands and manage all community communications on Slack, Discord, and at events.
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with followers, fans, influencers, and like-minded brands
• Work closely with our Research Director to monitor channel performance on a daily basis and gain strategic insights
• Work closely with our Events team to establish relevant promotional materials for future events
• Work closely with our Product Development team to stay updated on new products and features
