As part of our company’s mission, a small, entrepreneurial team at Meetup is creating a new experience to bring people together, beyond their circles of friends. This new mobile product will launch in May in New York, with a few hundred members initially, before launching later in the year in other cities.
As part of this team, you will act as the face and voice of this new product and engage, both online and in-person, with our community of early adopters. As you become a vocal advocate for our members, getting to know what’s on their mind and offering them support when needed, your work will help us improve our service.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to users queries in a timely manner and maintain a base of answers
- Monitor and report on feedback on social media
- Collaborate with product to craft campaigns to gather feedback from specific segments of users and summarize their answers into actionable insight
- Organize and facilitate events with our early adopters to better understand them and boost brand awareness
About You:
- Proven work experience as a community manager, event organizer, or customer specialist
- Experience leading a community online, offline, or both
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to track metrics to evaluate the success of your initiatives
