About the role

As a Content Marketing Manager at Teampay, you will bring an understanding of content marketing best practices and how the role plays into the greater B2B demand generation strategy. Your primary focus will be to improve our existing content strategy, develop new campaign ideas, and advise other team members and outside marketing resources. You will own Controller Collective, driving engagement within this community facilitated by Teampay. Your ability to be equal parts strategic and creative will be essential to your success in this role. You know how to write to an audience of business decision makers, putting their needs first to drive brand awareness, brand preference, and conversion. 

Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, the role will be leading this integral function of Teampay’s go-to-market efforts.

What You’ll Do

  • Craft email marketing programs to nurture our entire database, follow up on events, and drive engagement through our newsletter
  • Leading the content strategy for a number of marketing channels including our blog, social media accounts, downloadable content, as well as video, paid media, landing pages, presentations, and other assets
  • Support the rest of the demand generation team on how best to recycle and optimize existing content for new outlets and create new content to support inbound and outbound programs that engage prospects, nurture existing leads, and drive sales opportunities
  • Ensure that all marketing content is optimized for conversion and showcases our brand in an innovative way
  • Collaborate with our in-house designers to conceptualize and create engaging, best-in-class content
  • Grow your knowledge of SEO and can create various types of content to support organic traffic

Common Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in B2B/SaaS growth marketing  
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding writing skills 
  • Direct experience working in Wordpress and Hubspot
  • Familiarity with inbound marketing and the value of crafting great content and unforgettable B2B marketing experiences

Prior experience in a quickly scaling startup will be very helpful. This unique opportunity will give you a space on the ground floor of a business that already has significant traction.
