Responsibilities:

  • Define content strategy and develop an editorial calendar that will engage and grow our audience to support the marketing team’s goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end content production process, from brainstorming topics, researching and writing, editing and fact-checking, developing accompanying visuals, publishing, and tracking performance.
  • Develop cost-effective promotion plans for content across channels to ensure maximum readership.
  • Build and manage a network of contributing writers and photographers, while regularly contributing content yourself.
  • Ensure all content is SEO optimized, follows a consistent brand voice, and addresses the pain points and needs of our target audience.
  • Test new content formats, such as infographics, checklists, guides, video interviews, and more.
  • Analyze engagement metrics and referral data to determine effectiveness of content by piece and channel to iterate on content strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to incorporate content into both owned and paid social media and email marketing programs.
  • Support employees interested in developing their own original content to build brand equity and grow our readership.

  • 5+ years experience on an editorial team or high-output marketing team
  • Proficient in a variety of Content Management Systems and Google Analytics
