Content Marketing Manager
Lights.com is looking for a Social Media, Influencer, and Content Marketing guru to help us spread the light!
Candidate should have expertise in directing and managing the development and execution of influencer, affiliate, social, and content based marketing strategies. They should have a strong understanding of digital marketing, paid, and organic customer acquisition. Candidate will work with the design and product teams on trend research and promotional strategy. If you’re creative, articulate and organized, experience in customer acquisition, with a flexible attitude and a keen aesthetic eye, get in touch. The ideal candidate excels in building relationships, follows digital media and trends, and thrives on performance-driven teams. The role is based in our Midwood, Brooklyn office.
Responsibilities:
Manage relationships and contracts with key social media influencers
- Regularly communicate with existing network of brand advocates in order to foster strong relationships with the brand and understanding of product knowledge
- Create and manage influencer database
Proactively stay up to date with digital and social trends, monitoring competitors and digital influencer activity across social content
Establish and maintain strong relationships and daily contact with influencers, securing consistent word of mouth for brand
Daily monitoring of influencer social placements, making sure that they comply with established agreements
Partner cross-functionally to develop campaign calendar that supports primary brand goals.
Conduct competitive research and present recommendations to Product and Marketing teams quarterly, including daily monitoring of competitive brands’ influencer placements
Plan and manage content creation, calendar, and strategy
Leverage influencer content for brand marketing materials as needed
Requirements:
BA in Marketing, a related field, or comparable work experience
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment with ability to react to changes easily.
Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
Excellent time management, punctuality, communication and organizational skills
Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well as a team, in an open office environment
