Job Description:

The Content Manager will play a crucial role supporting the Marketing Solutions Product Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Content Marketing Strategy, s/he will project manage, edit, and produce content to support team business objectives across a portfolio of AdAge 200 brands–the largest advertisers in the world.

In this highly cross-functional position, s/he will manage the production and delivery of all Product Marketing content, from thought leadership to product marketing collateral and including content that lives on Neustar platforms and properties as well as on external sites and platforms. The Content Manager will coordinate delivery of necessary assets against timelines and quality standards, across Neustar and with partner agencies and publishers.

S/he will work closely with external content marketing agencies and individual contributors to request new content and make first-round edits as needed.

The candidate must be a self-starter with excellent writing, editing, organizational and communication skills. Candidates with a strong understanding of marketing, advertising and marketing technology landscapes, with demonstrable experience in product marketing and experience working for a B2B technology organization are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with product marketing teams to develop content calendars and plan for new content as needed
  • Engage external agencies for content and related services and support
  • Write and/or line edit content submitted by internal stakeholders and external resources
  • Track and manage deliverables and due dates
  • Support Head of Content Marketing Strategy with content curation, audits, mapping

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Excellent writing, editing, editorial management and proofreading skills
  • Curiosity and the ability to learn, understand, and articulate complex concepts
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects successfully and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration and consensus-building skills
  • Resilient attitude and strong work ethic

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a content marketing manager, editor, or copywriter at an agency, brand, or publisher
  • A BA/BS degree in English, communications, marketing or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Previous experience working for a B2B marketing technology company, in-house or at an agency, is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience working with SEO tools like BrightEdge is a strong plus
