Why we’re hiring
We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to help us add value to our buyers journey and customer lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating imaginative and compelling content for a wide-ranging set of marketing needs, such as longform guides, e-books, optimized blog posts, infographics, emails and content on the Alloy website.
Our ideal candidate has journalism or editorial experience and is as comfortable writing longform content as they are writing a compelling email. This person will work cross functionally both within and outside of the marketing team to help us develop our brand voice and POV. If you like to write thoughtful, well-researched content that truly builds value then this is the role for you!
What you’ll be doing As the Content Marketing Manager you’ll:
- Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for the blog, bylines, emails, website, campaign landing pages, etc.
- Develop and manage the content calendar to align with marketing initiatives
- Work with your marketing peers to coordinate content creation with application
- Collaborate with creative partners to generate concepts to round out the story
- Utilize SEO best practices to increase site traffic
- Write clear, compelling copy for marketing campaigns.
- Build and develop the Alloy brand voice and POV
- Own and manage Alloy social media accounts
Who we’re looking for
- Ability to demonstrate our values in an ongoing and consistent way
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a B2B content creator or in an editorial / journalism role
- Track record of innovative conceptual ideas that have led to strong content engagement
- Thorough knowledge of digital content strategy and creation
- Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills - please have writing samples to share
- Understanding of SEO principles
- BS/BA in marketing, English preferred
