Job Description

OwnBackup is looking for a highly-motivated self-starter to join our team as Content Marketing Manager. The Content Marketing Manager is a key role in helping us tell our story and serving as the voice of our brand. This person will contribute and manage the OwnBackup blog, as well as additional content distribution channels that we plan to create. These are going to be both small and large-scale content marketing initiatives and will be a significant, important, and measurable part of OwnBackup’s customer acquisition funnel.

In this position, it will be your responsibility to plan and develop a variety of content (from blog posts and case studies, to white papers and infographics), and work various angles to grow inbound traffic to our website and generate leads.

If you’re a content-focused digital marketer that loves to brainstorm new ideas, create high quality content, and knows how to really execute a content marketing strategy, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Senior Content Marketing Manager on overall marketing content strategy and timelines
• Contribute to planning and execution of the marketing content calendar
• Provide editorial and content development support in developing marketing materials
• Understand the buyers journey, mapping content and assets accordingly
• Develop and optimize content to increase paid and organic engagement
• Create and maintain a reporting framework to measure content effectiveness and ROI
• Understand and incorporate digital KPIs and metrics into content strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree
• 4+ years of digital marketing content creation experience
• Familiarity with SaaS and Cloud Computing
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
