MLB Social is looking for a super-creative baseball fan to publish content to Cut4 social media accounts across multiple platforms. Must have experience in social media, and have a strong understanding of both baseball and pop culture trends. If you believe baseball intersects with culture, know your memes, are part of Baseball Twitter or want to cover the game in a new way, this is the right place for you. Must be willing to work nights and weekends. Bilingual in both English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Publish to Cut4 social media accounts across multiple platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram feed and stories)
• Track what’s happening across baseball in real-time and prioritize Cut4 Social coverage
• Consistently ideate and pitch new ways to cover relevant storylines on Cut4 accounts
• Make editorial decisions in line with Cut4 brand goals
• Work closely with Cut4 editorial staff to pair site and social media content
• Work closely with your shift’s managing editor and original content producer to create the most relevant and compelling content for Cut4 accounts

Requirements:

• Experience working in social media, with an understanding of what content works best on different platforms
• Willingness to think outside of the box
• Strong understanding of baseball and our players
• Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Availability to work nights and weekends
