Coordinator, Sports Brand Solutions Social
Job Summary:The Sports and Entertainment Brand Solutions teams lead integrated marketing and monetization strategies for TWDC entertainment and sports brands, including ABC, Disney Channels Worldwide, Disney Digital, ESPN, ESPN+, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Hulu, and ABC owned local stations, and on all platforms.
The Social Sports and Entertainment Brand Solutions team is a group of social media experts who develop advertising solutions for our clients to maximize advertising revenue on social platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube from both our brand social handles and our social influencer talent handles.
The Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Social Brand Solutions team across Sports and Entertainment as needed for social requests, with majority of focus within ESPN. The primary role will be to work with various internal editorial and production teams to ensure execution for a variety of sold advertising programs. Coordinator will be responsible for creation of sponsored and branded content sports and entertainment sales obligations, with the ability being able to advise on single sport ESPN sales obligations.
The Coordinator will play a key role in creating and maintaining sports and entertainment social sales materials, including new proactive solutions and updating existing sales presentations on a quarterly basis with new information. The Coordinator will also be responsible for sharing links for live programs and to help in campaign recaps of sold programs, mostly within ESPN portfolio.
Through this experience, the coordinator will gain knowledge of the Brand Solutions team landscape, sports and Disney IP rights by platforms, and cross platform advertising capabilities, ultimately growing into a social advertising expert who can develop social strategies for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage post sale process of social sponsorships through the development and review of post-sale obligations, obligations calendar, graphic design requests & active communication with all key stakeholders, mostly with ESPN programs.
- Work closely with CreativeWorks, Social Editorial, and Social Pricing & Activation for social branded content executions
- Provide social screenshots & links to internal stakeholders when needed throughout the post-sale process, mostly with ESPN programs.
- Contribute to comparing recaps with reporting and pulling insights to support sales teams (I.E. average viewership for Digital Live Shows).
- Maintain & update sales materials for all platforms & proactive sponsorship opportunities
- Collaborate with the ESPN and Disney social editorial team along with Sports and Entertainment Brand Solutions teams on proactive sales opportunities throughout the year.
- Update tracking documents
Basic Qualifications:
- A passion for sports and entertainment
- Knowledge of digital, social and emerging media.
- Minimum of 1 years related work experience
- Experience in digital media sales, ideally with social platforms a plus
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Keynote, Word, and Excel
- An optimistic, solution oriented attitude
- EXTREMELY detail oriented and strong time management skills
