About the Role

Fetch Rewards' next step in evolving the shopping experience will require a Copywriter, Marketing Acquisition. This position can be be fully remote in the United States. This role will sit on our collaborative, inclusive Creative Marketing team, reporting to our Creative Director, Marketing. This individual will be given the autonomy to make an impact through their writing by driving our acquisition strategy forward. 

What you’ll do.

  • Create smart, memorable content to elevate the Fetch brand and to entice shoppers and potential partners to join the Fetch Fam
  • Write copy that is smart, clear and obviously Fetch to move our brand forward!
  • Keep writing concise and informative, without sacrificing creativity
  • Write content for a range of communications, including:
    • Consumer-facing marketing: digital ads, organic and paid social content, app store creative and video
    • B2B marketing: organic and paid social content, video, decks, case studies and one one-sheeters
  • Support other writers on the team when needed:
    • Engagement communications: emails, in-app messages, pushes, internal communications and more
  • Work with Lead Copywriter and Creative Director to contribute to the identity, voice and tone that permeates all brand touchpoints and stays true to Fetch guidelines
  • Refresh existing work and create of new ones
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target users and partners, what motivates them, and how we turn those insights into great copy
  • Work within the established creative process, including handing copy off to be translated
  • Explore different copy testing opportunities

How you’ll do it.

  • Concept, write, iterate, and revise copy based on provided briefs and feedback
  • Take risks and push Fetch’s writing style, with an expectation to fail occasionally
  • Work within and push Fetch’s established approach to copy
  • Seek out opportunities for copy elevation throughout Fetch’s portfolio of creative work
  • Demonstrate dedication to diversity, inclusion, and representation
  • Keep on top of trends in content, storytelling, and best practices for copywriting
  • Be mindful of how word choices may translate into other languages 

Who you’ll work with

  • Work with diverse teams across Fetch’s marketing, product, and sales teams
  • Collaborate closely with creative team peers – other writers, translators, illustrators animators, designers, creative leadership, & project manager
  • Support copy leadership & their initiatives
  • Work primarily with acquisitions team (B2C and B2B) to understand objectives, target specific audiences, and evaluate measurable creative outcomes

Skills

  • 3-5 years copywriting experience
  • Seamlessly bounce between writing for a wide range of media, and from B2C to B2B
  • Great with words, a good vocabulary and solid understanding of grammar
  • A sincere belief in the power of collaboration
  • A self-starter who is proactive and unwilling to wait for others to tell you what to do
  • Ability to transform insights and strategy into excellent creative output
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Drive programs

Nice to Haves. 

  • B2B experience
  • Bilingual - Spanish
  • Experience building templates in Iterable or other CRM tools
  • Able to work with type in Adobe Creative Cloud
