Copywriter
We are looking for a Copy Writer to join our fast-growing marketing team at YieldStreet. This position will report to our Content Marketing Manager and will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of different channels.
You know how to distill complex (financial) ideas into engaging and simple language that everybody can understand. You possess excellent attention to detail, exceptional organizational and time-management skills and the ability to turn direction and critical feedback into outstanding results. You can make the world of finance and technology sound accessible—without diluting it or dumbing it down.
What You'll Do:
- Work with Brand and Product Marketing, Design, and more to craft and polish the words that define YieldStreet
- Structure, write and edit copy for product and launch materials—blog posts, white papers, marketing emails, presentations, landing pages, social media posts and everything in-between
- Participate in strategic brainstorm meetings and collaborate with marketing team to align copy to our positioning and value proposition
- Maintain high standards of copywriting and exercise quality control
- Coordinate with teams on A / B testing to consistently improve results against business KPIs
- Rapidly iterate on concepts and executions
- Ensure content reflects accurate information, voice, style, and branding consistent across multiple media platforms
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of experience at a FinTech company, traditional financial institution or start-up environment (preferably in a compliance heavy environment)
- Ability to assume any voice
- Highly capable of telling engaging stories
- Strong research & content editing capabilities
- Ability to break down a strategy into coherent, crisp messaging
- A fascination with innovation and technology
- Solid understanding of digital tools and trends
