You are:

An experienced (7+ years) corporate communications specialist at a technology and/or high growth company. You have a proven record of success in developing and executing a corporate communications strategy. You’re also a leader with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, generating results and impact.

You have exemplary written and verbal communication skills, and you’re able to craft a story and a messaging strategy that resonates with journalists to secure media coverage. In order to do that, you must also have existing relationships with key business and technology journalists.

You’re a team player with experience in collaborating with multiple groups across an organization, including product, marketing, investor relations and legal. You also need to comfortably collaborate with senior executives and to provide candid feedback.

As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute financial and strategic communication initiatives that advance Wix’s story, messaging and notoriety globally, growing Wix’s profile among relevant business, financial and technology publications, particularly in the U.S. and Europe
  • Create strategic narratives that increase the understanding of Wix’s unique business model and the value we deliver users and businesses around the world
  • Develop messaging and talking points for spokespeople, including media interviews and speaking opportunities at industry conferences and events
  • Work with internal spokespeople to advance their messages through interview opportunities, speaking engagements, writing editorials and media training
  • Secure and lead speaking opportunities for executives to drive visibility and thought leadership
  • Cultivate relationships with relevant business, financial and technology journalists and influencers
  • Coordinate with various teams including investor relations, product, marketing and channel partnerships to support and amplify announcements and news
  • Work closely with various teams to develop the strategy, process and execution for crisis communications when needed
  • Stay informed on industry news and flag issues and trends for leaders

This position can be based in either New York or San Francisco
