CPG Lead, Global Brands
We're looking for experienced brand marketing professional to be a part of its Global Brands team to join Team Snapchat! Working from our New York, NY office, you will focus on managing our largest global advertising partnerships. You'll own all financial development and growth of key CPG global client(s), including the development of global account plans. This role will require a combination of business leadership, strategic thinking, analytical problem solving, deep product knowledge, and an ability to drive innovation at scale
What you'll do:
- Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities
- Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
- Partner with local market client leads to scale and accelerate adoption and deployment of SNAP in key markets
- Own mid- to long-term financial and strategic planning
- Define the overall approach for specific territories, regions, develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions utilizing internal and external data
- Develop key relationships across the client’s global and regional organizations to deepen partnerships in all relevant areas of the enterprise (marketing, video, creative, research, shopper marketing, innovation, etc)
- Deepen existing and establish new collaborative business relationship between decision-makers at SNAP and C-levels at Key Account and its marketing agencies on a global scale
- Collaborate with client and agency’s global teams to identify new opportunities globally, by unlocking inactive brands and driving spend in emerging markets
- Lead CMO-level business reviews at annual summits such as CES, Cannes, and Ad Week
- Identify and elevate any resource needs or constraints needed to maintain and further develop the global partnership with this key account
- Establish yourself internally at Snap as the team leader for anyone touching this account, across Sales, Product, Marketing, Creative Strategy, Content, and Business Development
- Lead with innovative solutions-based consultative sales engagements to demonstrate how SNAP’s advertising products can be leveraged globally to connect with consumers
- Lead the sharing of best practices globally and be the single source of knowledge for internal and external queries related to key client
Minimum qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience in digital advertising: sales, agency (media and/or creative) or client side
- Experience working with CPG companies
Preferred qualifications:
- Expert in consumer insights, best practices, and marketing and business solutions for the CPG category
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, present well, think analytically, and successfully manage projects from end-to-end
- A track record of creative problem solving, success in complex deal negotiations, and navigating matrixed organizations
- Understand global dynamics and how to drive impact at the local level
- Extensive knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing
- Ability to engage and partner with C-Level executives
- Ability to win the support of key stakeholders
- Strong existing relationships with top marketing decision makers for brands and their agencies
- Experience distilling complex messages into simple narratives
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals
- Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Creative, outside-the-box thinker and strategist
