About the role

We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional to join FanDuel. The Sportsbook CRM Manager will lead the strategy and delivery of all FanDuel Sportsbook online and retail CRM campaigns in the U.S. Responsibilities cover the full CRM process, from KPI setting, planning and costing, to building and executing all campaigns. The manager will work closely with the broader Marketing team, Customer Operations, and Commercial, and have high exposure to senior leadership.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to drive user growth and revenue for the Sportsbook, and establish FanDuel as the market leader in a new and massive industry.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with Commercial to develop KPIs, forecasts, and reporting
  • Ownership and accountability for all Sportsbook CRM & Retention KPIs, including actives, retention, and ARPU
  • Develop US Sportsbook customer segmentation and predictive models with Sportsbook Analytics team, building on learnings from PPB Global and other FanDuel Group business units
  • Plan and oversee all CRM campaigns, including:
    • Map customer journey and optimize customer lifecycle programs
    • Drive growth by cross-selling users from other FanDuel Group brands into Sportsbook
    • Collaborate with Sportsbook team to serve up exciting promotions to our users
    • Coordinate with Customer Operations on promotions and communications to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Work with Marketing team to develop and execute go-to-market campaigns as we enter new states
  • Collaborate with CRM Operations on continuing to build out MarTech stack for US Sportsbook, within the wider framework of the FanDuel Group and PPB Global’s MarTech stack
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities to junior members of the CRM team

Who we’re looking for

  • Deep experience with building and optimizing customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and automation
  • Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop omni-channel marketing campaigns
  • Customer-centric mindset; able to articulate FanDuel’s value proposition and use it to build a lasting relationship between our customers and our brand
  • Self-starter; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to drive both strategy and execution
  • Data driven; ability to bring strong analytical rigor to decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience and comfort with presenting to senior-level executives a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience with ESPs and marketing automation systems required
  • 5+ years working in email marketing / CRM, promotions, or strategy required
  • Experience in sports or online gaming highly desired
