Digital Marketing Analyst
JOB SUMMARY
As our Digital Marketing Analyst, you are the go to person for all digital marketing analysis, insights, and reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring we have the systems in place to track data so as to inform and report on digital marketing programs across all channels: web, app, social, email, paid performance, audio. You will be responsible for supporting the head of digital marketing by getting clear on what marketing data is needed from leaders across the organization, building the data infrastructure to support these needs, and then operating, optimizing and reporting on this data. You will also help build a marketing CRM so that we have a global understanding of our guests in all markets and how they engage with us across platforms.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead in digital marketing insights for our team, regularly sharing meaningful data to help drive our KPI’s
- Build a digital marketing data pipeline complete with digital marketing data platform and reporting dashboard to inform and drive digital marketing strategy
- Work with internal data engineers to design + implement web analytics + tagging strategies across digital touchpoints to build meaningful understanding of guest journey
- End-to-end in support of our digital campaigns, brand experiences, and all digital assets
- Connect data collected across all brand touchpoints to help pull meaningful understanding of our audience behaviour
- Accountable for all tagging and tracking, analyze the full funnel of our audience journey and identify key opportunities to optimize performance
- Provide regular weekly reporting on digital marketing performance
- Maintain and innovate weekly + quarterly holistic dashboards that measure the performance of our digital campaigns, conversion funnel and traffic
- Create reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and analyses that generate insights and inform marketing strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize app and .com performance by reporting on performance of digital marketing programs and online usage behaviours and making recommendations for improvement
- Support social media, email, paid media, and content strategies with analytics by setting up tracking system for all tools
THE FINER PRINT
- You have at least 3 years of experience in digital marketing data analysis
- Excellent working knowledge of tagging and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and FB Business Manager
- Experience with MS Excel – you live and breathe pivot tables, vlookups, and are always learning new Excel skills
- Experience working in a high performance marketing environment across channels (email, display, paid search, affiliation, etc.)
- You have strong analytical, problem-solving skills - ability to access, manipulate, analyze, interpret, and action data - you have a curious mind to find out the what, where, how and why
- You’re a master of diving deep into data and pulling out insightful nuggets to help inform strategy
- You have experience building data pipelines so that data is being collected in an efficient way and can be harnessed for insightful digital marketing reporting
- You are extremely well versed with multiple digital marketing data analysis platforms and equipped to assess what tools a business needs, put together a proposal, and then implement recommendation
- You are well versed in HTML, CSS, and overall basic web coding
- You’re action-oriented and solutions-oriented and resolve any and all issues that arise
- You’re an excellent communicator – both in-person with your teammates and in written communications
- You have superb attention to detail, personal organization, and project management abilities
- You’re agile and adaptable, quick to respond to current business needs
