Digital Marketing Manager (Patient Recruitment)
About TrialSpark
On a mission to bring new treatments to patients faster and more efficiently
Founded in 2016, TrialSpark is a tech-driven Pharma company differentiated by radically more efficient drug development. TrialSpark has built a technology platform that optimizes all aspects of clinical drug development, enabling more efficient trial design, faster trial completion, and higher quality trial data.
The company acquires clinical-stage drugs from pharmaceutical and biotech companies and develops them faster, unlocking greater value per program and accelerating access to new treatments for patients. TrialSpark's current therapeutic areas of focus include rheumatology, dermatology, CNS, and cardiometabolic diseases.
About the Position
Recruiting patients is one of the industry's biggest problems, with up to 50% of studies terminating early due to the inability to meet patient enrollment targets. Patients are often apprehensive, uninformed, or unaware of how trials work and how their participation can make a real difference in drug development.
In this new position, you'll own digital marketing within the Patient Recruitment function, responsible for engaging and bringing high-quality patients to participate in studies relevant to their condition(s). You'll develop, implement, and iterate on patient recruitment strategies by A/B testing across digital channels (physical channel experience a plus). Leveraging your digital marketing expertise and entrepreneurial spirit, your goal is to improve the scale and efficiency of our lead-generation channels and deliver on recruitment targets. Other key responsibilities include building new campaigns and experiments, managing creative testing, setting budgets and targets, overseeing channel reporting, and leading / mentoring one direct report.
Responsibilities

- Manage budgets, targets, forecasting, and report on performance across campaigns
- Identify opportunities for expansion (e.g. audience, geography, targeting, and social channel etc.) then devise and launch experiments (A/B testing)
- Partner with Product, Operations, R&D, and Analytics teams to enhance end-to-end patient experience through our product and implement thoughtful engagement / retention strategies
- Lead and mentor one direct report (Marketing Associate)
