Role Summary:
As a Digital Marketing Manager on the Go to Market team, you will help establish Prefect's marketing strategy to support our community and product led growth efforts.
You will manage our social media strategy and channels to connect with our community at scale. You will be a liaison with our public relations firm to manage our PR activities. You will also track our advertising strategy and effectiveness - working with 3rd party vendors to refine our digital advertising programs and improving our website SEO. The programs you champion will lean on your autonomy, creativity, and technical expertise to achieve a successful product led growth marketing strategy. You will work with our executive, design, product, and marketing teams to achieve your mission.
You will report to our Head of Growth, Chris.
Expectations (you will):
Develop marketing plans that bring awareness to our community and users, while creating revenue opportunities from our self-serve community
Differentiate Prefect in the modern data stack through social media, public announcement and advertising campaigns
Oversee Prefect's social media strategy
Coordinate with our PR team for press releases, announcements, and interviews
Manage our advertising campaigns and measure their effectiveness
 Refine our advertising messaging and apply SEO best practices to improve our page ranking
Manage our event sponsorship planning
Embody ownership: contribute and advocate for your ideas, while also preventing projects from failing
Qualifications (you have):Â
3+ years b2b marketing experience with a focus in creating content marketing strategies and programs
Experience marketing a developer-focused tool
Experience with social media strategy
Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager know-how
Project & Vendor Management skills
Technical expertise with modern system architecture
Desire to lead by example in an enthusiastic and team environment
Bonus Points (we'd like you to have):
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, technology, or communications
Experience in a startup
Experience with SEO best practices and strategies
Experience with corporate communications or PR
