Digital Marketing Manager
Overview
Are you a Digital Marketing Manager looking to take on the world? Smartling needs your digital marketing skills and knowledge to take us to the next level. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative, creative, entrepreneurial, energetic, and analytical person to be the subject matter expert for our Global Digital Strategy. Based out of our New York Headquarters, you will take ownership of our SEO and paid advertising strategy and be responsible for the day-to-day management of our website.
You will report directly to the Director of Marketing and work closely with sales leadership, account executives and the global marketing team. Be part of our exciting phase of growth and join us in our fun New York headquarters.
Tasks At Hand
- Take ownership, plan, and execute the digital marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, social media, and display advertising campaigns across all channels and platforms.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on those findings .
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Support the redesign of the company website and continuously work to improve its usability, design, content and conversion rates.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- 3-5 years experience working at a startup or B2B SaaS company with proven working experience in digital marketing.
- Strong experience working with content management systems and working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing PPC, SEO, and social media programs.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Excellent writing, grammar, proofing, and editing skills.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- Interest in language, culture, and global thinking.
