Digital Marketing Manager for North America

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Campaign Analysis and Optimization:​ You will have experience measuring channel and campaign performance You have a strong grasp of key pipeline metrics ​(CPL. CAC, ROAS, etc) and understand what levers to pull to continually improve these metrics. You will be focused on Conversion Rate Optimization and obsess over the data. You will understand marketing attribution and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts accordingly. Ideally, you have had experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio. At a minimum, you will be able to export data and run basic analysis within Excel.
  • Performance Marketing and Channel Ownership: You will ​manage performance marketing agencies and ideally run some paid campaigns yourself. You will be work alongside the Head of Marketing and other team members to manage full-funnel campaigns focused on driving​ ​awareness, customer​ ​acquisition & retention. Channels may include (but not limited to);​ ​paid social (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.),​ ​affiliate marketing, display (re-marketing, prospecting), email marketing, SEO. Experimentation with new channels will a core component of this role. As a start-up, we will test channels with defined budgets and measure performance against KPIs. Maintaining a very close eye on key unit economics is critical (CPL. CAC, ROAS, etc).
  • Marketing Tech Stack ownership: ​You will be responsible for managing developers required to keep our marketing stack functioning properly and supporting our performance marketing team. You will be comfortable with HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio or similar tools.
  • Produce digital ads and content: ​You will use quantitative and qualitative data to inform the development of creative assets (e.g. Facebook lead ads, landing page edits, new copy needs). You will play a key role in translating the insights you have uncovered in your reporting and analysis into creative briefs for Copywriters, Designers and other creatives.

 

CORE QUALITIES / SKILLS 

  • 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, with a strong focus on paid marketing channels, data analytics, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Positive, proactive and friendly. We are looking to hire high character people first and foremost.
  • Team first attitude, able to work effectively with colleagues in order to elevate your own performance and that of others.
  • Have a growth marketing/optimization mindset; deeply analytical, with a strong logic and reasoning ability.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and the ability to understand and interpret numerous key performance indicators, especially working with Google Analytics or other site analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing Facebook and LinkedIn campaign to acquire customers and optimizing against strict unit economics.
  • Knowledgeable of SEO and conversion rate optimization best practices.
  • Experienced collaborating and briefing creatives in order to produce high-quality work that delivers against results-driven briefs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A desire to continually learn and better oneself.
  • Extremely detail- and results-oriented.
  • Worked with Wordpress or other CMS.
  • Data-driven (qual and quant).
  • AB/Split testing.
  • Bonus: if you have used the following (or competitor version) tools: HubSpot, SalesForce, Google Data Studio, Optimizely, Lead Pages.
