T-REX is seeking a Digital Marketing & PR Manager who will play a critical role in driving the continued growth and direction of the company. This role is for an experienced, data-driven B2B marketing leader who will harness our company’s vision as it relates to growing its topline, expanding its enterprise client base, and driving ultimate business success.

Part of T-REX’s Business Development Team reporting to the company’s Chief Business Development Officer, the Digital Marketing & PR Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing an outstanding, highly analytical marketing organization that demonstrates a deep understanding of our clients and their pain points. This role will oversee all areas of the company's marketing activities, including planning, brand awareness building, client acquisition/retention, demand generation, and public relations activities.

This will be the perfect job for an experienced and agile digital marketing and communications leader who thinks strategically, has a firm grasp of marketing automation and analytics, and is comfortable launching new programs that are needed for success. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves in a fast-paced environment to run a highly effective business support function that thrives on rigorous execution.

What you’ll do: 

Partner with leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to take T-REX marketing to the next level via a data-driven, multi-channel comprehensive marketing, branding, and communications strategy for an enterprise SaaS product that increases market penetration, improves brand awareness, and drives demand generation. Among your day-to-day activities. 

Brand identity and positioning

  • Develop and steer the company’s brand identity/creative direction, overall messaging and brand positioning
  • Advise on brand positioning, key differentiators and customer engagement strategies
  • Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of key digital and print assets to support the marketing and sales funnel (e.g., websites, presentations, posters/banners, brochures, fact sheets, bios)

Sales enablement

  • Support Business Development (Sales, Client Development) to build and implement client acquisition/activation, retention, and end-user engagement strategies, systems, and campaigns

Digital (website, social media)

  • Manage company website design and development, as well as day-to-day content updates and hoc landing page creation
  • Manage/optimize profiles for all digital/social platforms
  • Take ownership of programs across all channels including, but not limited to, paid media, email marketing, SEM/SEO, social media, webinars, and content marketing

PR

  • Manage calendar of PR opportunities
  • Manage the development and creation of key press materials including press releases, media alerts, OpEds/byline articles, and talking points
  • Develop/manage media relations strategy, seeking strategic placements in print, broadcast, and online media
  • Manage participation in relevant awards/rankings and related promotional activities
  • Cultivate contacts and drive influencer relations to help secure PR opportunities to grow awareness among business partners and industry thought leaders.

Events

  • Manage calendar of industry conferences/events and set priorities for sponsorship, exhibition, speaking engagement, and/or company representation/attendance
  • Provide event-specific collateral and pre-/post-event support

Advertising

  • Develop/manage advertising strategy, seeking strategic placements in online and print media

Reporting/Analytics

  • Own strategy and tactics for all campaigns (email, paid/social media, website updates, etc)
  • Manage analytics dashboard and track website traffic/performance
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance on digital, social, and PR initiatives
  • Analyze ROI both on a campaign-by-campaign basis and in aggregate, identifying trends and making improvements
  • Capture and share field feedback to inform best practices and identify unmet marketing needs

Operations

  • Work closely with company leadership to set financial goals/targets, track performance, and strategically manage the Marketing P&L for results
  • Oversee/support the development of a marketing and data tech stack to help us communicate and interact with prospects and existing customers programmatically and at scale -- CRM/Salesforce, CMS, email marketing
  • Manage relationships with agencies and other creative and production vendors  to manage all aspects of custom content development, from concept through execution (website, collateral templates)
  • Build, support, and motivate a growing marketing organization

What you’re good at:

Must haves:

  • 5-7+ years of experience with digital/social and PR for financial services and/or enterprise technology products for buy-side/sell-side practitioners
  • Bachelors’ degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Proven track record for driving brand awareness and generating quantifiable demand/sales leads for B2B/SaaS products
  • Proven ability to drive tangible brand growth via earned, self-published, and paid media to drive both traffic and engagement
  • Ability to drive efficient, measurable, and scalable client acquisition and retention programs
  • Expert understanding of SEM/SEO and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, MailChimp, etc.), CMS (Wordpress), analytics (web/social)
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Google Suite/Apps, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and social media platforms (Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube/Vimeo, Instagram)
  • Strong project lead and program manager with ability to identify requirements and move a project through completion
  • Excellent written/communication skills, superb organization, and the ability to deliver in high-pressure and fast-turnaround scenarios
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and business acumen
  • Willingness to hustle and roll up your sleeves to get work done
  • A fierce belief in our product and mission, startup experience, and a passion for helping others
  • Availability to travel

  • Experience with C-level/Board reporting
  • Knowledge of HTML
