As a Digital Operations Analyst, you will use your leadership skills, business acumen and creativity for optimizing the yield of our suite of Owned and Operated products. You will be collaborating with Account Management, Campaign Operations, Sales, and Product to maximize the value of our ad inventory and audiences. This role will serve as an integral part of the Performance Ad Ops team in increasing interactions with every consumer that comes through one of Fluent’s products. This person must be entrepreneurial in nature, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Generate optimal yield for Fluent’s properties and ad units
• Develop pricing models, reporting solutions, quantitative analysis, and ad tech developments to support yield decision making
• Make decisions on direction with limited data and urgent deadlines
• Execute and measure the success of multivariate tests and new audience strategies to produce optimal value
• Create forecasting models and budgets to be utilized by Account Management
• Manage the placement and the positioning of campaigns and verticals
• Understand the complete picture of Fluent’s business model: how inventory is utilized, how to optimize bottlenecks, and how to account for opportunity cost
• Collaborate with Campaign Operations and Account Management on identifying campaign value, advertiser quality, and maximizing performance

Requirements

• 2+ years in a quantitative role
• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into digestible stories
• You are a strategic thinker with an independent mindset
• You are a strong communicator and collaborate with the ability to influence others & impact decision-making
• Detail oriented
• Able to manage multiple priorities and operate autonomously
• Experience with relational databases and SQL a plus
• Experience with Power BI a plus
• Data visualization skills
• An unwavering willingness to learn and be part of a strategic team
