Director, Account Based Marketing

The Director of Account Based Marketing will work closely with Cedar’s sales and marketing functions, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Demand Generation and ABM within the marketing organization. The ideal candidate has significant experience in leading focused enterprise campaigns from conceptualization to launch that contribute directly to top line business goals.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive quality demand through omni-channel campaigns, implement and scale impactful strategies, maintain a results-oriented approach to challenges, and work highly cross functionally to drive campaign success.
Responsibilities
- Be the specialist on your assigned target accounts (approximately 10), managing on-going research and insights to drive sales and marketing strategies
- Collaborate with partners (Sales, Product Marketing, Content Marketing and Creative teams) to develop, launch and optimize account-specific omni-channel campaigns
- Lead the process for strategic content development based on account insights to drive overall campaign goals/objectives
- Collaborate with Marketing Ops on campaign set-up, tracking and reporting, and with Commercial Ops to continuously optimize lead hand-off processes and Sales follow-ups
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing leaders to ensure quality demand delivery tied to Sales goals and follow-up based on established SLAs. Build and optimize Sales feedback loops and course-correct as campaign execution unfolds
- Define Key Performance Indicators, budget, and measurement plans as part of campaign planning, analyze and report to partners overall impact on pipeline, account engagement, and account reach
Qualifications
- 6+ years demand generation experience in enterprise SaaS; 3+ years in ABM marketing (ideally in enterprise healthcare or financial services)
- Experience growing enterprise pipelines by driving highly strategic buyer-focused campaigns throughout the entire sales cycle; ability to articulate impact with pipeline-level metrics
- Strong familiarity with tactics and channels (including email, paid and organic search and social, display ads/retargeting, 3rd party media, co-marketing, webinar/ events and more), using practices such as conversion optimization and A/B testing to maximize impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong copywriting skills (ideal)
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple partners
- Experienced with people and/or team management or has a desire to gain that experience as part of growth
- Strong familiarity with core marketing tech stack to help drive efficiency and effectiveness of campaign execution e.g. CRM, marketing automation (ideally, HubSpot or Marketo), Google Analytics, Terminus and/or other ABM tools
