Director, Brand Marketing
SeatGeek’s ambition is to become the largest and most loved ticketing company. We're looking for someone to help take ownership of that ambition by moving our brand growth forward.
As the Director, Brand Marketing, you'll be responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of growing SeatGeek’s brand. Armed with an exciting new rebrand, launch of an impactful campaign, and buy-in from all levels of the business, you’ll be armed to quickly make an impact and set us on the path to making SeatGeek a household name.
What you'll do
- Be the champion for Brand at SeatGeek
- Plan, implement and oversee brand strategy by identifying, creating, and executing campaigns that will drive awareness, brand relevance, and ultimately revenue
- Own the creation of briefs for brand campaigns, working with agencies and internal teams to deliver creative, strategic campaigns that deliver impact
- Deeply understand and articulate the SeatGeek fan and prospective fan; fully understanding new and competitive products, trends, and opportunities. Partner with data & customer analytics to incorporate insights into brand strategies
- Build systems for measuring and monitoring marketing effectiveness, including brand awareness, brand equity, brand health, targeting optimizations and more
- Deeply partner with the Creative team to further develop the SeatGeek Brand. Put in place feedback loops to ensure creative is delivering against company goals, and optimizing for short and long term impacts
- Partner with the Performance and Influencer Marketing teams - as well as all brand channel leads - to drive brand growth in a collaborative way
Who you are
- 8+ years experience working in marketing - preferably with direct brand channel experience - at a fast-pace growth stage company
- Deep understanding of brand growth channels, and broad understanding of all marketing channels (paid, earned, acquisition based, influencer, etc.)
- A highly strategic, creatively minded and results oriented marketer with a proven track record in campaign development and brand storytelling
- Excellent writer and storyteller that exercises great judgement
- A decisive thinker capable of marrying past experiences with fresh thinking
- Thrives in a collaborative environment. Experience building strong working relationships with across all types of marketing leaders, data teams and other business stakeholders
- Goal-oriented, cool under pressure, and bend towards continuous improvement
- Ability to extract insights from multiple data sources, and make informed decisions that balance the art and science required to build a lasting brand
