Director, Brand Marketing
About The Opportunity
The Grubhub Brand Marketing team is looking for an ambitious and creative Director of Brand Marketing with proven experience in managing brand strategy and in developing campaigns and content that have created a deep emotional connection with customers and employees alike. Working across both the Grubhub and Seamless businesses, you’ll be a brand leader, storyteller, influencer, and doer working across a range of strategic projects, and will be responsible for developing and driving effective brand management practices across Grubhub.

Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
What You'll Do
- Strategize – Devise and execute an integrated marketing strategy that grows Grubhub’s brand and business
- Experiment – Run tests on any channel you want (digital / offline / influencer / PR / email / social) to identify effective and efficient levers for brand and business growth
- Analyze – Leverage market intelligence, consumer insights, and quantitative and qualitative research to craft audience, creative, and marketing campaign strategies
- Influence – Serve as the primary point of contact across all creative agencies, and internal creative partners (Product, Design, Communications, Marketing, Growth, and Strategy & Operations)
- Lead – Build and manage a team of marketers that help grow the Grubhub brand
You Should Have
- 10+ years of experience in building a consumer brand and growing consumer products / services, with expertise in strategy, marketing, research / insights, branding; advertising agency is a plus
- Deep knowledge of different marketing channels and effective methods for driving growth; including digital, product, OOH, media, advertising, etc
- Proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience in high tech
- Experience in consumer branding and market segmentation
- Experience managing a team, ability to foster a positive team environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills, analytical skills
