Your Impact on our Mission

Zocdoc’s mission is to give power to the patient. We are seeking a leader to help communicate this mission and earn a spot as one of the most trusted and admired brands in America. 

Your role as the Director of Brand Marketing is to drive this positive brand awareness and perception. You will set a strategy, define brand marketing initiatives and systematically track our progress against these audiences. We will track our awareness and perceptions to our patient, provider, government and financial audiences. 

This role will have a dedicated brand marketing budget for tracking and initiatives. Content and Social strategy will directly report to this role. The team will collaborate with others on the large Performance Marketing budget impacting strategy and creative choices. Key partner teams include Creative, PR, Performance Marketing, Product marketing, and Product. These teams will not directly report to you but will be key stakeholders in your initiatives.

Your day to day is…

  • Developing initiatives that communicate Zocdoc’s brand to the wider world
  • Collaborating across teams and agency partners on brand-driving efforts
  • Working with measurement vendors to ensure impact goals are met
  • Owning content and social media strategy across all channels
  • Working with key stakeholders, including finance, to size initiatives and make strategic recommendations on investments
  • Hiring and managing a best in class team of brand marketers


You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

  • 10+ years experience in brand marketing for consumer-focused brands
  • Brand Strategy experience building multiple high-profile admired brands
  • Proven track record of systematically developing and changing brand perceptions
  • Consumer technology and marketplace experience a plus, but not required
  • In house experience a strong plus, but not required
  • Humility. You believe in treating all people with dignity and respect, regardless of title or tenure
