Director, Consumer Growth Marketing
We’re looking for a Director of Consumer Growth Marketing to focus on crafting and executing against a comprehensive growth strategy across both paid and organic channels that will accelerate the number of consumers seeking care through Alma. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this person will lead the team responsible for strategy and execution of consumer acquisition efforts via existing channels, as well as testing and scaling new channels for growth. The ideal candidate is a seasoned growth marketer who has operated in high growth startups, a strong people manager, and passionate about Alma’s mission and the future of mental health care.
What you'll do:
- Develop and own strategy for consumer growth marketing at Alma
- Play a key role in national expansion efforts; develop a playbook for consumer growth that incorporates multiple geos and marketplace dynamics
- Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of all consumer growth marketing efforts, including leading a small team with headcount to grow
- Develop and hone attribution model; collaborate closely with Product and Marketing Operations on tech stack management, data hygiene
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to optimize the consumer funnel
- Guide the growth marketing team in methodically prioritizing, testing into, and scaling new channels
- Oversee tracking of key metrics and surfacing key insights to senior leadership to guide company strategy and decision-making
Who you are:
- You have 6+ years of experience in growth marketing, including startup experience at a consumer-focused brand ; strong preference experience in multiple geography and/or marketplace environments
- You have a deep understanding of best practices across key growth marketing channels (Google, Facebook, Display, OOH, etc)
- You have excellent managerial and mentoring skills, with an ability to coach and develop talent and bring out the best in others
- You have a bias towards analytics and measurement, with extensive experience measuring work against revenue-related goals
- You are comfortable working with senior executives and finance teams to align on key metrics, forecasting, and budgets
- You have a proven track record of developing frameworks and workflows that enable peak performance
- You have demonstrated experience collaborating with product, engineering, and channel owners on marketing teams, especially as it relates to data integrity and attribution
- You are a creative problem solver and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset – the idea of building with scratch deeply excites you
