Director of Content Marketing

We’re looking for a Director of Content Marketing who will increase Postlight’s awareness and thought-leadership through original content, social media, and paid media. You’ll be responsible for determining the best way to attract and engage our target audiences through content across a variety of formats and channels. We need an exceptional communicator and creative marketer to help tell our story.
What you’ll be doing:
- Complete ownership of the content calendar, including crafting and implementing effective content marketing strategies to drive and engage qualified inbound to Postlight
- Collaborating with executive team to develop thought-leadership content for our audience
- Building content and driving production in all formats including blog, podcast, paid media, email, thought leadership papers, social media, etc. Work with design, engineering, and other resources to produce what is needed
- Managing content promotion across all channels to ensure flawless execution of various channel-specific paid media campaigns
- Analyzing content performance metrics and sharing insights internally
- Managing freelance designers and other agencies, as well as paid media budgets
Requirements
- You have 3+ years experience in editorial, freelance, copywriting or content creation and strategy, ideally in technology.
- You have experience across the entire content marketing process, from needs assessment through measurement
- You have excellent writing and editing skills, but are also very process-driven
- You have the ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply them in practice
- You take ownership over projects and a drive to see them to completion
- You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- You have a curiosity and interest in learning about and deeply understanding our work, customers and target audiences
