Director, Global Brand Experience

We are looking for a Director, Global Brand Experience (GBE) to join Snap Inc. The GBE team oversees the creative direction and execution of Snap’s physical presence in the world, through experiential activations, events, client/partner/showroom spaces, as well as continuing to innovate on virtual and hybrid experiences. GBE collaborates with all teams at Snap to provide a consistent brand point of view and standard, as well as support the development and scaling of the Snap internal culture globally by creating inclusive experiences for our team. This leader and their team will oversee operations, develop and implement strategy for the GBE team within a multi-functional environment and influence shared goals across partner teams. Additionally, the ideal candidate is able to implement operational processes and build collaborative relationships with our partners on various projects.
What you’ll do:
Partner with the Head of GBE to develop yearly business strategy and execution plans
Implement & refine operational processes across the GBE team to execute team mission and increase efficiencies
Work with the team to conceptualize and implement Snap’s signature brand experiences, as well as communicate Snap’s culture and values through internal, recruiting and DEI events
Conceptualize and carry out imaginative virtual experiences for a variety of stakeholders and clients
Implement scalable programs and standard methodologies across diverse teams to enhance and improve our collaboration
Find opportunities for Snap’s brand to come to life in partnership with consumers, brands and partners
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Communications, Partnerships and Creative Strategy to implement and measure strategies
Deliver against advertiser and revenue growth targets
Facilitate ongoing, timely, and proactive executive communications regarding strategy, operations and objectives
Coordinate and operationalize complex projects
Communicate to executive teams and the broader company
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Outstanding project management execution, business acumen and operational capability
Detail oriented, hands on active leadership
Experience building executive relationships and driving/influencing change
Passion for creativity, innovation and thinking creatively
Ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of responsibilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build strategy documents and presentation deck
Experience in strategic planning, building out processes, and managing ambiguity
Exceptional cross functional leadership
Experience in experiential & brand strategy
Refined aesthetic that aligns with Snap’s brand
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
12+ years experience of brand strategy, operations or event planning
3+ years experience leading teams
3+ years experience building and leading strategy across multi-disciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA degree
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the creative, tech or media industries
