ABOUT THE NEW VTS MARKETPLACE

Over 60% of the US class A office space is already managed using the VTS leasing platform, and it is by far the #1 choice of commercial landlords in the US. The VTS marketplace will integrate with the VTS leasing platform and will be the commercial real estate industry’s first marketplace where tenants can search as well as transact leases online, and landlords can automate their advertising and lease execution—all from within the VTS leasing platform.

The VTS marketplace will attract and engage tenants for the available spaces of VTS customers. Unlike existing listing sites, the VTS marketplace will enable both landlords and brokers to dramatically improve the marketing and leasing of spaces by automating both the listing and leasing process and will provide tenants with the most accurate and thorough listings in US top markets.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Director of Marketing Operations and Insights will own building out the marketing tech stack, but since the marketplace is essentially a marketing tool, will also have a broader influence on the development of the marketplace platform as a whole.

The right candidate for this role has a solid foundation in B2C marketing operations including lead process management, marketing technology, and integrated campaigns. This role will oversee global lead management processes, enablement of integrated demand generation campaigns, and optimization of our marketing operations technology stack. 

This is a highly collaborative role, working with marketing, product, sales, and sales operations.

What You'll Do

  • Marketing Processes:
  • Optimize lead management and workflows to ensure maximization of the marketing to sales funnel increasing efficiencies and conversion rates
  • Define processes and control compliance to make sure the marketing and sales teams drive effectiveness and smooth coordination inter and intra organization.
  • Work with acquisition and lifecycle/retention marketers to ensure they have the tools, processes, and capabilities needed to execute marketing, track effectiveness of campaigns, and convert traffic to leads to transactions.
  • Provide support to configure, execute, and QA campaigns, workflows, data issues, and other key marketing operation functions
  • Identify and integrate new lead data sources (e.g. for appending data like ZoomInfo and LeanData) 
  • Ensure new lead channels have proper measurement, routing, and sales handoffs
  • Define, create, map, and document key marketing processes
  • Effectively manage a variety of technology, data, and service vendors
  • Build and maintain lead scoring programs and data augmentation strategies
  • Actively strengthen the relationship between Sales and Marketing
  • Use automation to solve business problems, collaborate with key stakeholders to identify gaps in current processes/systems, and optimize workflows to increase marketing and sales productivity
  • Marketing Tech
  • Working with the VP Marketing, propose and selects the complete marketing tech stack, including analytics, BI, eCRM, SEO/SEM, etc.
  • Identify key process areas for MarTech automation or enhanced capabilities
  • Develop marketing technology solution strategies and roadmaps
  • Evaluate the marketing technology ecosystem and prioritize improvements
  • Insights/Reporting:
  • Build out reporting/BI infrastructure to properly measure multi-channel marketing strategies across SEO/SEM, PPC, social media, video, targeted direct mail, email marketing, events, advertising (both digital and off-line), content marketing, etc.
  • Own reporting and analysis of marketing effectiveness across the entire lifecycle (not just acquisition)
  • Team: 
  • Hire and manage a team of best-in-class marketing operations managers and marketing analysts to support the growth of the marketplace to all areas of the US and eventually international

About You

  • 7-10 years of experience in B2C e-commerce marketing or sales operations (or high volume B2B)
  • Experience with marketing automation systems, preferably in a high-volume B2B environment or B2C e-commerce
  • SaaS marketing experience a plus
  • CRM experience including Salesforce
  • An understanding of lead management best practices
  • Solid track record architecting solutions across various marketing systems
  • Excellent project management skills and a proven ability to hit deadlines on complex projects
  • Outstanding technical and analytical skills, proficient at understanding and conceptualizing business problems and designing and implementing analytics solutions
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills; capable of interfacing well across multiple skills within and across the company
  • Expert at campaign management best practices
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments, especially with sales
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills, i.e. ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries, and deliver actionable business insights
