Director of Marketing
Unbound is hiring a Director of Marketing to 10x revenue over the next twelve months through a focus on building a robust community program.

GOOOOOOOOOALS:
The focus of this role is to take the organic Unbound community and grow it by 10x within 12 months. Your responsibilities will be to:
Grow Unbound’s community program to over 250,000 members
10x Unbound’s revenue
This is a highly entrepreneurial role working alongside Unbound’s CEO. You must be open to trying anything, ruthless about digging into the data and nixing projects that don’t work, and aggressive about doubling and tripling down on tactics that do. Above all else, you must believe in the power to scale authentic communities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Unbound’s growth strategy through the scaling of a robust community program
Finding, testing, and optimizing growth opportunities across:
Community program (i.e., referrals, rewards, and VIP events)
Brand partnerships
Product development partnerships
Influencer strategy
Tradeshows and events
Earned media
Sweepstakes / giveaways
Building ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual plans for your KPIs and executing on those goals
Analyzing and reporting on performance, you must know how to evaluate ROI for every initiative you execute
Deeply understanding the customer and thinking creatively about how to serve them better
Partnering with Unbound’s content team (i.e., Unbound Magazine and social media presence) to continuously improve customer retention
Leading the charge toward massive market share growth

The ideal candidate for this role is a mid-career marketer with entrepreneurial experience, extremely strong analytical skills, and passion for Unbound’s mission. You are the ambitious, competitive, and determined friend. Most importantly, you believe that the world needs a billion dollar company that takes women seriously.
You must at have at least 3 years of marketing experience with an emphasis on community building. You also have:
2-3 years of experience at a top consulting firm and/or creative agency (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, McCann, R/GA, Droga5)
A proven track record of scaling customer acquisition through community building
CAC to LTV pro
Power network you’ve built over your professional career; people consider you a “power node”
Ability to manage and cultivate staff
Experience with web and email analytics tools
Ability to analyze data and present action insights through data visualizations and clear narratives
A motivated, positive, proactive, and transparent attitude
