Your goal will be to strengthen the brand and drive top of the funnel awareness to StrongArm’s FUSE Platform. Your ultimate goal will be to connect prospects to the Sales Team and to fuel revenue growth. You will be a key leader in spreading the word about a technology which can improve the lives of millions of workers.

In this role, you will have to be a high-level, creative and strategic thinker. Strong written skills are a must, as is the ability to hear a story and repurpose it for a variety of constituent audiences. StrongArm speaks to many levels of the value chain and sells an evolving SaaS platform. The ability to simplify a complicated value proposition and create different pieces of collateral which convey that message to will be essential for success.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a marketing and journalism background with experience communicating effectively to a disparate set of constituents.  Beyond creating the vision for content, the ideal candidate knows how to deploy it as effectively across all channels. We are looking for a results-driven worker who knows the best way to convey information, justify decisions internally, and can track towards our expansion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Brand Development: Ability to audit and assess existing StrongArm brand assets, and then lead go-forward effort to evolve the brand, refine the communications strategy and corresponding materials, and build a set of operational tools.  On-going requirement to test and learn as we progress.

Messaging Strategy: Review, revise and define the StrongArm Tech messaging vision, strategy and framework to effectively drive – endorsement, engagement, interest, excitement, purchase – from the workforce who wear it, and the channel and enterprise partners who buy the technology.

Content Creation: Create targeted content from the stories and insights of customer facing teams; Build resources that speak to the variety of stakeholders that StrongArm serves; drive newsletter, white papers, blog / vlog content and media interaction to drive the publication / promotion of unique perspectives.

Strategic Deployment: Deploy content for maximum exposure while being resource efficient; Implement marketing automation platforms on top of StrongArm’s existing CRM infrastructure; Effectively convey the organizations value to F500 decision makers where they live (media) and learn (conferences).

Internal Communications: Work with the C-Suite to improve media training communications skills and presentations, as well as drive the development, management and delivery of content and new information to the organization.  In order to do this, we will need you to assess and monitor culture / impact.

Public Relations: Work with our existing PR resource to build profile, perception of capability and exposure; 1) to support a Series B starting in February; 2) to put us in front of potential customers; and 3) to address complicated ethical / moral concerns about data collection and use.  We want to lead this discussion.

Digital / Website: Utilizing the foundation that has been built, work with our internal design and development teams to identify opportunities for improving our digital presence and driving better inbound lead management and response times (correlated to sales conversion).  It’s not “broken”, but we can Fix it.

Social Media: Audit our existing social media and marketing channels, along with our – relatively new – content calendar to identify areas of improvement and lead the existing social media team to define and deploy content effectively to drive engagement, web traffic and sales / media inquiries.

Results Minded: Build and lead a team with an eye on spend versus impact; Draw insights from customer and data teams to deliver value to the sales organization; Understand the development funnel and constantly test and learn to improve the impact marketing creates for StrongArm Technologies.

An Insider's view of StrongArm Technologies

What’s the vibe like in the office?

StrongArm feels like a family. The office is open, relaxed and comfortable. Our people are warm, and invested in each other both personally and professionally. Everyone laughs daily. Noone eats lunch alone. We move fast and demand hard work, but we always achieve our goal by helping teammates go to another level.

Lindsay

Manager, Clients

What makes someone successful on your team?

Being trust-worthy and having an enthusiastic attitude is essential. Our team is made up of incredible leaders who continuously forge their paths. To be successful at StrongArm you must have respect for your teammates, desire to lead, an openness to being challenged and always learning.

Siva

Data Scientist

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

We run a relatively flat organization which is our key to driving true innovation. We chase the fastest path to insight not the fastest path to a solution. In order for that to work, everyone needs to check their egos at the door, everyone needs to be on the same page and everyone owns their work. Our cultural values reflect those principles.

Sean

CEO & Founder

What kinds of technical challenges do you and your team face?

We are building a data pipeline with Spark that solves problems like dynamic scaling, schema evolution, cluster monitoring, data quality analysis, and ML empowerment. These problems require a wide range of skills. It keeps me excited to come to work every day, knowing there’s a problem waiting for me which will teach me something new.
