RESPONSIBLITIES
As a Platform Director, you will work to extend the Greycroft brand and assist Greycroft’s portfolio companies by organizing impactful events, creating actionable content and facilitating meaningful connections. Specific accountabilities include:
- Conceive, organize and oversee events that support the Greycroft portfolio community such as Demo Days, dinners and other events that give portfolio executives access to C-level executives at top global companies
- Further develop Greycroft’s network by identifying and networking with senior executives at top global companies
- Manage Greycroft’s branding efforts and portfolio positioning as it relates to press, content, website, social media outlets, etc.
- Develop and manage portfolio company on-boarding
- Manage inbound requests from portfolio companies for introductions to the Greycroft network
- This role will work closely with the firm’s marketing and events division on combined initiatives and objectives
- This position involves periodic travel
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of marketing/business development experience in the startup community, with platform experience in venture capital or similar role at startup or technology company a strong plus
- Track record working and communicating with founders and senior executives
- Results-driven with bias for action and commitment to excellence. Self-directed, rolls up the sleeves and engages in all activities with sense of urgency. Gets it done on time, every time.

- Thrives in fast-paced environment of constant change
- Manages numerous time-sensitive matters simultaneously
- Positive, resilient and open to candid feedback
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal. Articulates concepts clearly and succinctly.
- Demonstrated commitment for helping companies (startups) grow, nurturing communities, networking and creating strong relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
Education: 4-year college degree at a top academic institution
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
